But the truth is that I don’t play the things Elton does. Not at all. I’m playing my own version of the song. A version I’ve created by knowing the chords, listening to Elton and finally, making the chords come alive using different tools and skills.

The sweet reality of this is, that instead of spending week after week grinding my way through a complicated piece of sheet music – I have created my very own version in just a few hours.

And this being a version that does justice to the song I might ad.
