Cue notes are small-sized notes printed in a musical part to help performers find their place in the music. They are usually played by another instrument and serve as visual reference points rather than notes to be performed.
What are Cue Notes?
Cue notes typically appear during long rests or before an important entrance. They show a recognizable melody, rhythm, or musical phrase from another instrument, helping performers count accurately and enter at the correct moment.
